Commtel's CSR Initiative- The Next Level of Commitment

CSR ImageCommtel always stood for what it believed in. It's this self-belief that saw it weathering even the toughest economic slumps of recent times and still coming out a cropper with positive growth figures. The year after, we have only strengthened our position with favorable returns and expected growth. To share our gains with the people who have been left behind and are not attended to, in normal conditions, has been Commtel Foundations motto.

Our belief system has been witnessing considerable support from Commtelians, extending help and warmth through their regular contributions. It's been more than a year since we associated ourselves with 'BAL ANAND', the government recognized orphanage. We have reached a pedestal where addressing their need based requirements has evolved into timely willful engagement. Under such auspices of Commtel Foundation we naturally extended our whole hearted support to “UMANG”- A secure home to 10 orphaned special children. A few Commtelians visited its premises in Karjat and celebrated birthdays of three special children, one of the very few days of remembrance and rejoices for them in the entire year.

CSR ImageCommtel which had earlier pledged to enhance its relationship with these special children made the bond stronger by sharing necessities and meeting some of their key requirements. Child education and healthcare initiatives are also other social commitments that saw few needy being duly assisted and facilitated. Caring for the old and elderly is another social engagement which is duly and timely addressed by Commtel's long time association with Mercy John Memorial Public Trust, an NGO dedicated to the care and treatment of the elderly. A visit to the same has also made stronger our resolve to help them and be there when they need us.

We have harbored a culture of holistic growth, social commitment being an integral part of that cultural practice. Commtel would keep burning this lamp that lights the life of a few and in turn do its bit to dispel the darkness for many more years to come.
